About Connor O'Neill
Hello! My name is Connor and I am an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. I am a graduate from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy where I earned my Masters of Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc). Prior to this I earned my undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Western University (BHSc). In my fourth year of undergrad I completed my certification to become a Vision Therapist (PVT). Vision Therapy involves the rehabilitation of patients with visual dysfunctions using a graded exercise program. My dedication to understanding vision, balance, and the human body allows me to deliver the highest standard of Osteopathic care.
I grew up in Burlington playing a variety of sports with a specific focus on tennis. I also enjoy music and play the violin as well as the piano. I am always excited to give back to the Burlington community and to serve the greater Halton region as it has given so much to me.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a hands-on holistic form of healthcare that emphasizes the interconnection between the body’s structure and its function. It is based on the principle that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself when its tissues, joints, and muscles are in proper alignment and free of restrictions.
My goal in therapy is to find and treat the cause of the problem, instead of just the effect. Treatments are always tailored specific to the patient based on their range of motion. This approach not only addresses immediate pain but also helps prevent future issues by improving posture, flexibility, and joint mobility. By focusing on the whole person rather than just the affected area, I aim to provide long-lasting relief and improved quality of life. Whether you’re dealing with a specific injury or looking to optimize your overall health, we are here to support you on your journey to feeling better and moving freely.
